Location/department-specific information:
This position is located at the Allschwil site, Switzerland in the Label Manufacturing area. It is a full-time position in a 3-shift model.
How will you make an impact?
As an In-Process Inspector, you are primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards during production. You help ensure that all materials and products meet our regulatory requirements and are released with the utmost care.
A day in the life
- Incoming inspection and release of tools (printing plates, cutting tools) and materials (including raw materials, paper/film/laminate rolls, colors, glue, etc.) used in the production area
- Review and release of production orders on the machines in the area
- Review of production and storage documentation
- Inspection (visual and machine-based) and release of manufactured products (booklets, base panels, labels) in the Clinical Label Services system
- GMP-compliant documentation of performed tasks
- Integrates PPI into daily work
- Support at manufacturing machines as needed
- Creation of standards
- Improvement and development of the quality assurance system of the area
- Working in a 3-shift model
Education
Studies or training in the field of quality
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a regulated production environment
- Experience with incoming goods inspection, supplier deviations, first sample inspections
- Familiarity with cross-departmental collaboration (production, suppliers, quality) Preferred:
- preferably experience in GMP or ISO environment
Knowledge, skills, abilities
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems and digital documentation
- Detail-oriented and structured
