Job description
La Louvière is a left bank nursing home hosting 62 residents, most of whom suffer from sometimes severe cognitive disorders.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with all professionals at La Louvière and in partnership with families.
Activity rate 80%
Salary according to the CCT.
Profile sought
Qualified nursing assistant with experience in the field of psycho-geriatric care as well as an aptitude and certain sensitivity to caring for elderly people, many of whom have significant cognitive disorders, but also younger people below AVS age with moderate psychiatric disorders.
Team spirit, mutual support, respect, patience, and availability are essential qualities to care for our residents, as well as a great ability to adapt to schedule changes and teamwork.
Knowledge of SADIES desired, additional training in palliative care would be an asset.
Confirmed experience in psychiatry or psycho-geriatric care or, failing that, training in the field of relationships with people suffering from mental disorders is essential for any application.
Private means of transportation recommended.
