Swiss Council of Youth Activities Swiss Federation of Youth Associations The Swiss Working Group of Youth Associations SAJV is the umbrella organization of around 58 youth organizations in Switzerland. It advocates for the interests of youth associations and the young generation towards authorities, political bodies, and the public. The SAJV is looking for a project employee for the Federal Youth Session (50%) starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement. Your tasks
You support the project management in planning and implementing the Federal Youth Session. The Youth Session is one of the largest platforms for political participation of young people in Switzerland and annually enables 200 young people to express their opinions on important political topics and deepen their knowledge in political education [www.jugendsession.ch]. You support the project management administratively and organizationally. You are responsible for the registration process as well as the contact with the participants of the Youth Session. Together with the project management, you organize various smaller events and preparatory meetings throughout the year. You also work closely with the partners of the Youth Session from politics, administration, and private sector and take on various tasks in communication and fundraising. In doing so, you also work with the organizing committee and the Youth Session Forum, the voluntary bodies of the Youth Session, in which around 30 young people are engaged throughout the year. - Experience in project work and event organization in a professional or voluntary context
- Independent working style
- Enjoy working in a team and with volunteers
- Good knowledge of French with German as working language or vice versa, Italian is an advantage
- Interest in extracurricular youth work and youth participation
- Young personality
- Very good editorial skills
- Flexibility and resilience; willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends, as well as willingness for annual working hours, i.e., more work during the Youth Session period (November).
