Clinic for Periodontology
Start of employment: from 01.10.2025 or by arrangement
The Clinic for Periodontology is part of the Dental Medical Clinics and an internationally recognized center for teaching, research, and services of the University of Bern.
Our primary goal is competence and quality in patient treatment. The satisfaction and trust of patients, as well as the excellent training of future dentists, are at the center of our focus. In treatment, we orient ourselves to the latest scientific research. Therefore, clinical
oriented research, the further education of young dentists, and the training of colleagues in private practices are of great importance.
We are looking for you to complement our team from 01.10.2025 or by arrangement.
Your main tasks
- Preparation of treatment room/chair
- Provision and maintenance of instruments
- Independent handling of all tasks at the patient chair (4-hand system)
- Assistance in sterilization
- General secretarial work such as preparation/management of patient records
- Correspondence with patients, referring dentists, authorities, etc. (largely independently or based on keywords)
- Preparation of cost estimates and clarifications in insurance cases
- Assistance in organizing student courses
Your profile
- Completed training as a Dental Assistant EFZ
- Enjoyment of the profession, especially in caring for patients with periodontal problems
- A flair for service-oriented customer contact
- Reliability, independent and precise working style, and proactive action
- You enjoy working in a team and have high social competence
- Maintain a cool head even with high workloads and in hectic times
