Automation Technician / Electronics Technician for Diesel Engines and Emergency Power Generators

• In this exciting position, you are responsible for the electrical wiring of diesel engines and emergency power generators. You will work with engines up to 623 kW and nominal voltages up to 380 V. You manufacture conventional control boxes and smaller controls and perform electrical as well as electronic diagnostics on diesel engines and emergency power generators. During test runs, you carry out adjustment and testing work and create acceptance protocols.
• Occasionally, you will be active in field assignments, especially accompanying on-site commissioning. The focus of your work is currently on the development of prototypes, with series production rarely required.

• Completed training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience in electrical wiring and installation of diesel engines and emergency power generators
• Knowledge in the manufacturing of controls and control boxes
• Experience in performing diagnostics and repairs on electrical and electronic components
• Independent working style as well as teamwork skills
• Willingness for occasional field assignments and on-site commissioning
• Experience in prototype manufacturing is an advantage
• Knowledge in programming systems as well as in assembly and wiring is desirable
• Additional knowledge in electrical power distribution, pneumatics, and switchgear construction is an advantage
