Your tasks:
As a safety officer, you take on a central role in the implementation and further development of the safety concept at Campus Muttenz. In close cooperation with internal and external partners, you actively contribute to the safety and health of our employees and students. Your tasks include, among others:
- Developing, maintaining and implementing the operational safety concept including the safety manual
- Advising on safety-related issues as well as on projects, events and new acquisitions
- Conducting risk analyses and hazard assessments
- Organizing and conducting safety instructions for employees and students
- Maintaining and further developing the internal emergency organization
- Taking responsibility for fire protection and coordinating with external security service providers
- Contributing to FHNW-wide safety concepts and actively participating in the network of FHNW safety officers
Your profile:
You are a committed, solution-oriented personality with a strong affinity for safety and health topics. Ideally, you also bring the following qualifications:
- University degree in environmental, natural or engineering sciences or a comparable education
- Further training as a safety engineer or specialist in occupational safety and health protection
- Several years of experience in the field of safety, health protection and emergency organization
- Good knowledge of legal basics and willingness to continue education (e.g. fire protection)
- Structured, independent working style and good communication skills
- Teamwork skills, resilience and confident appearance
