The Finance Department is looking for a personality as Accountant Finance 80% starting June 1, 2026 or by arrangement.
As part of a collegial team, you will independently manage financial accounting and prepare financial statements in the context of the Red Cross.
What you can achieve
- Independent management of financial accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger)
- Management of cost accounting including cost center and cost unit evaluations
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER
- Responsibility for VAT returns
- Preparation of budgets and financial analyses
- Preparation of financial overview and participation in consolidation
- Contact person for financial and accounting questions
- Further development and optimization of financial processes as well as participation in finance-related topics and projects
What you bring with you
- Further education as a specialist in finance and accounting with a federal diploma or comparable further education
- Several years of professional experience in accounting with solid bookkeeping knowledge
- High IT affinity and confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Business Central is an advantage
- Independent and precise working style as well as pronounced teamwork skills
- Very good German or French skills (C1/C2) as well as good knowledge of the other language (B2); English skills (B2)
