With locations in Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, Slovakia, France, Finland, and the USA, as well as a global sales network, KAISER stands for technical excellence and innovative strength. At the beginning of 2026, we further expanded our international presence through the acquisition of Whale Tankers Ltd. – including new locations in the UK and India.

To strengthen our group management, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded leader with technical depth and international experience as CTO (m/f/d).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

As CTO, you are responsible for the group's technology and innovation agenda. You provide orientation, bundle competencies across locations and brands – and deliver measurable business impact through robust architecture platforms, strong teams, and consistent implementation.

FOCUS AREAS AS CTO

Global technology strategy with industry and user understanding

• Leading R&D activities across all brands while maintaining brand identity and strong involvement of all locations.
• Close collaboration with sales, production, and customer service – from market needs to series maturity.

Platform and modularization strategy in special vehicle construction

• Further development of the platform logic that enables customer-specific customization.
• Defining and implementing group-wide architecture decisions.

Technology transfer & excellence

• Systematic best-practice transfer in mobile hydraulics, steel construction, and digital control technology.
• Building engineering methods that work in a decentralized structure and fit our industry – lean and effective.

YOUR PROFILE

• Many years of leadership experience in engineering/R&D, ideally in special vehicle construction, commercial vehicle-related mechanical engineering, or comparable industries.
• Technical foundation with depth (hydraulics/mechatronics, structure/material, control/software) – and the ability to reduce complexity.
• You have a proven track record in leading international engineering teams across cultures and time zones.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: strategically strong, down-to-earth in implementation, clear in decisions, convincing in leadership.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
