Design & Manufacturing Support: You contribute to the design, manufacturing, and industrialization of sorbent structures for CO₂ capture.

Manufacturing Process Development: You work on packages to understand and improve manufacturability in early-stage product and machine development.

Prototype Development: You assist in the design, fabrication, and testing of prototypes; conduct basic experiments to validate concepts and troubleshoot issues.

Documentation & Communication: You validate, troubleshoot, and clearly document your work to ensure effective communication within larger projects.

Education: You are pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Science, or similar; vocational training is a plus.

Hands-on Experience: You are comfortable working in labs or workshops with experience in prototyping and basic testing.

CAD & Simulation: You have the ability to operate CAD software and initial experience in design and simulation of parts and assemblies.

Manufacturing Knowledge: You have an understanding of manufacturing processes for metals and polymers; knowledge of composites is beneficial.

CO₂ Capture: Familiarity with CO₂ capture is a plus but not required.

Problem-Solving & Learning: You are enthusiastic about creative problem-solving and eager to learn new concepts, skills, and tools.

Working Style: You are reliable, motivated, solution-oriented, concise, and structured in your approach.

Languages: You are fluent in English; German is beneficial but not required.

Availability: You are available for a 6-month internship starting in March and motivated to support industrialization projects on design and manufacturing.

What we offer:
At Climeworks, our six-month internships offer a hybrid work setup, giving you flexibility while ensuring valuable collaboration by working onsite at least three days per week. To maintain fairness, we follow a standardized salary process based on market benchmarks. For our internships based in Switzerland, the compensation is:
