Are you interested in the content and processes of cantonal cultural promotion and want to actively participate? Then you are exactly right with us: The Cultural Office offers you a one-year internship (60%) starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
With us, you will gain exciting insights into the funding activities and the diverse tasks in the cultural environment of the Canton of Zurich: from supporting artists and projects, accompanying cultural institutions, developing new funding strategies, to awarding prizes and regional cultural promotion – and much more.
What awaits you
- Collaboration in the evaluation of applications from all areas (visual arts, literature, music, dance/theater, extra credit, regional cultural promotion)
- Administrative tasks and support in organizing meetings and events (e.g., visual arts showcase)
- Participation in commission meetings and strategic discussions on the further development of cultural promotion
- Support in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects, depending on your strengths and interests
What you bring
- Passion for culture and ideally some experience in the cultural sector
- Enjoyment of teamwork combined with an independent, precise, and structured way of working
- Tech-savvy and good IT application skills
- Advanced studies, university degree, or several years of equivalent training
