About the job
The IT services of the city of Thun (IDT) are a central service provider for the city administration of Thun, the Thun public schools, and for third-party clients, such as regional municipalities. The IDT currently supports and maintains approximately 4,300 workstations, 215 servers, 4,800 user accounts in the education network, and 800 user accounts in the administration area.
We are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a
Your tasks:
- Design, implementation, and operation of modern workplace solutions with a focus on Microsoft technologies (Intune, SCCM, Windows 365, Azure, Powershell) for our end devices
- Deputy role in packaging, distribution, and lifecycle management of applications via Intune
- Handle requests/incidents professionally and cover 2nd level support
- Administrative and coordination tasks as well as clarifications of technical contexts for problem resolution
- Participation or leadership of small to medium-sized projects
You bring with you:
- Completed basic training (EFZ) in the field of computer science, further education desired (HF/Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft environment (basic services such as AD/DHCP/DNS, Windows 11, and M365)
- Several years of practical professional experience as a system/workplace engineer with a focus on endpoint management and correspondingly solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure, Intune, Autopilot, Windows Update for Business)
- An independent, responsible, and structured way of working
- Knowledge in telephony (Teams as well as IP telephony) is an advantage
- Willingness for ongoing training
- Virtualization (Citrix, Hyper-V) is also not unfamiliar to you
