Customer Service Red Cross Transport Service (80%)
The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) Canton Zurich fulfills important humanitarian tasks in the areas of health, social integration, and migration/asylum. The Red Cross transport service accompanies and drives people who have limited mobility to important - especially medically necessary - appointments. The Red Cross transport service is managed by volunteer drivers. Due to demographic and social changes and rapid technological development, the Red Cross transport service and our organization will actively shape and further develop in the coming years.
To strengthen our team in Zurich, we are looking for a flexible, empathetic, and resilient personality for customer service (80%) starting January 1, 2026 or by arrangement.
You will make an important contribution to ensuring that our transport service is provided reliably and with high quality.
Your tasks:
- Receiving and processing telephone inquiries from passengers
- Scheduling rides for volunteer drivers
- General administrative tasks in the transport service
- Coordination, recruitment, and training of volunteer drivers
Your profile:
- Completed commercial basic education
- Confident German language skills, spoken and written
- Experienced, professional telephone manner
- Good IT user and MS Office skills
- Advantageous: experience in scheduling or call center area Enjoyment in contact with people and working in a team Resilience, flexibility, and a structured, independent working style
