About the job

• You are the central sparring partner for the Head of Human Resources & University Development as well as for the university management.
• You are responsible for the strategic, conceptual, and operational management of the entire HR department at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
• You develop an integrated HR strategy in close coordination with the university strategy and are responsible for its implementation.
• You actively drive HR change processes and support transformation projects of HSLU from a personnel perspective.
• You ensure an efficient, modern, and legally compliant HR operation for the entire university, including a contemporary tool landscape.
• You are responsible for the further digitalization of HRM together with the Head of Human Resources & University Development.
• You coordinate university-wide personnel development processes and create decision-making bases as well as reports for the university management.
• You manage the HR budget and establish impact-oriented HR controlling.

• You have a university degree (Uni/FH) as well as advanced training in HR, organizational development, and leadership.
• You bring comparable, several years of leadership experience in the HR environment, ideally within an expert organization.
• You have very good knowledge of the public-law sector.
• Strategic HR management, change processes, and conceptual thinking are among your core competencies.
• You are characterized by a high affinity for consulting, communication, and transformation.
• A pronounced understanding of governance structures and political sensitivities in a complex context is natural for you.
• Even in a dynamic environment, you act agilely, confidently, and solution-oriented.
