What you will do for us:
You will lead the Legal, Product Management, Marketing & Sales team currently consisting of 5 employees
You are responsible for clarifying legal issues in the areas of products, marketing
& sales including customer and intermediary contracts regarding our target markets (currently
Germany, Austria, Malta & Belgium, from 2026 also Italy)
You are responsible for drafting and revising contracts with sales partners
You are responsible for commissioning and supervising external lawyers, especially regarding the conduct of court proceedings at all instances
(mainly Germany) within your area of responsibility
You are responsible for the legal assessment and response to
customer complaints
You support communication with the supervisory authority in Liechtenstein
You and your team contribute to the design and creation of new
life insurance products as well as their further development and updating from a legal perspective and carry out the legal review
You are responsible for reviewing newly created forms for contract changes or
claims processing for their legal accuracy
You are responsible for legal monitoring of the EU/EEA as well as the target markets in your
area of responsibility
Who you are:
You have a completed law degree or equivalent knowledge
You have professional experience in an insurance or financial company
Initial leadership experience is an important plus
You are willing to familiarize yourself with new legal areas
Using common MS Office programs and other modern applications such as
Teams is a matter of course for you
