The Health Directorate of the Canton of Zurich ensures high-quality and economically sustainable healthcare. This includes, in addition to secure hospitals and other medical institutions, flawless medicinal products and food as well as protection against animal diseases and pandemics. The General Secretariat supports the Director and performs cross-sectional tasks for the four offices of the directorate.
To provide support, we are looking for a staff member for the General Secretariat, 80-100%, to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
You provide leadership support, coordinate cross-departmental and cross-office processes, and prepare decision-making bases tailored to the recipients. In doing so, you work closely with the departments of the General Secretariat as well as the offices of the Health Directorate. You support the Head of Staff in preparing matters for the General Secretary and the Director as well as in staff projects. On behalf of the General Secretary, you are also responsible for cross-departmental matters and projects. Furthermore, you support the supervisory function of the General Secretary and the Director by preparing relevant control information.
Your profile
We are looking for a motivated, independent, and service-oriented personality with political sensitivity who keeps an overview even in hectic situations. You have a master's degree and several years of professional experience in a relevant field. You think strategically and proactively, express yourself precisely both orally and in writing, and handle complex issues in a structured manner. You are used to prioritizing tasks quickly and delivering high-quality results even under time pressure.
