Uroviva stands for a modernly managed medical network and includes a specialized clinic for urology, eleven urological practices, as well as an andrology center. With around 55,000 consultations annually in primary, specialized, and emergency care and over 5,000 surgeries of all degrees of severity, Uroviva is a significant provider of urological services in Switzerland.

For our practice location at Männedorf Hospital, we are looking for a committed person immediately or by arrangement

Medical Practice Assistant 40%

• Planning, organization, and preparation of consultations
• Creating patient summons for the annual check-ups of all attending doctors at the location
• Blood draws, urine analyses, wound and dressing changes, as well as instillations
• Preparing urological examinations and assisting with examinations and minor procedures (cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, etc.)
• Proper, hygienic, and flawless care of the examination rooms
• Surgery planning and interface to the hospital
• Writing medical reports, medical record entries, and various correspondences such as surgery discharges, insurance certificates, and cost approvals using the MPAssist program
• Reception of patients, mail processing

• Completed training as a medical practice assistant EFZ or health specialist EFZ, training as a medical secretary with basic education in healthcare and consultation assistance course
• Professional experience as an MPA or medical secretary
• Experience in reporting
• Good MS Office skills and foreign language knowledge
• Friendly, reliable, and competent personality characterized by high resilience and great motivation
• Enjoyment of active patient contact
