Portrait of the School/Institution
Port is an attractive and lively residential community with around 3,950 inhabitants. At the Port primary school, around 330 children are taught by 43 teachers from kindergarten to 6th grade, and there is also a day school offer.
Due to an adjustment of the percentage of positions, we are introducing a co-leadership model at the Port primary school from the 2026/27 school year. For this, we are looking for a committed and strong leader as

Tasks
You will take over the new co-principalship together with the current principal. In this role, you are jointly responsible for operational, pedagogical, and personnel management. Within the co-leadership, you take primary responsibility for cycle 1 or cycle 2 and work closely with the respective team. The other school management tasks are divided between the two co-leaders according to experience, interests, and percentage of positions.
The co-leadership is responsible for the further development of the school, communication with parents, students, teachers, authorities, and for representing the school externally. Financial responsibility within the budget framework also lies with the school management.
Requirements
We expect a completed pedagogical education with teaching experience in elementary school. You have preferably completed or are on the way to completing school management training.
You bring high social competence, are team-oriented, strong in communication, and open to new developments in the school sector. You know how to work with people on an equal footing and find common solutions.
Oral French skills facilitate communication with French-speaking parents. You have very good organizational skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the common BKD programs as well as your IT affinity complete your profile.
