The Foundation Life in Old Age Herisau is a non-profit foundation with the goal of providing elderly people, from the first day they can no longer or do not want to manage their daily lives independently until the last day of their lives, a home tailored to their wishes and needs. At three locations in Herisau, 260 employees work daily for the well-being of residents, tenants, and guests.
Managing Director: Foundation Life in Old Age

Your tasks:
As Managing Director, you bear the overall operational responsibility for the Foundation Life in Old Age Herisau. Together with the board of trustees, you further develop the chosen strategy and implement it. Together with the management team, you implement the service mandate and offer living space and services that are oriented towards current and future needs. At the same time, you lead according to business management principles and continuously implement process improvements. You embody the face of the Foundation Life in Old Age Herisau and actively network with important stakeholders.
Your profile:
You bring a proven track record in a responsible leadership position with budget and result responsibility in healthcare. You are an authentic and integral leader who succeeds as part of a team. You are approachable, "hands-on," and like people. You have the ability to connect economic and social aspects, think forward-looking, and act entrepreneurially. Ideally, you have a network in healthcare, preferably in Eastern Switzerland. A (technical) university degree completes your profile.
