About the job
Test Manager with Application Responsibility 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
As a Test Manager with additional tasks, you take on central responsibilities in our change process. Our services support over 2,500 municipal and cantonal employees daily as well as over one million private individuals and companies annually with tax declarations. Our specialized applications are developed by suppliers and integrated and operated by us. In this reappointment, you will take on tasks with sustainable significance for the canton of Zurich.
Your tasks
- In your role, you are responsible for test management for adjustments to assigned applications.
- You analyze individual software adjustments and develop the test planning from them.
- You coordinate resources during test execution (test paths, data, accounts, and tools), support the creation and execution of E2E test cases, and prepare consolidated test reports.
- You work closely with release management, application managers, and specialists from the departments.
- As an additional task, you take on the professional application responsibility for our official IAM system as well as for our contract tool.
- Together with your colleagues, you optimize processes in test, release, and deployment management.
Your profile
- You have at least two years of professional experience in a comparable role.
- You have an advanced degree in computer science. Certifications such as ITIL® or ISTQB are an advantage.
- You adapt well to a team in transition and are motivated to actively develop yourself and your colleagues.
- You are interested in further tasks in release management.
- You work in a structured manner and act responsibly.
- You know how to lead your colleagues laterally.
- Your initiative, service orientation, and confident German language skills in spoken and written form complete your profile.
