Key information about the position:

Reference: CLS/RH/2026.755 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am at the earliest until 5:00 pm at the latest according to schedule / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

As part of our activities, we are looking for a versatile medical assistant, active at the Sampling Center for patient care and involved within the laboratories for administrative and organizational activities.

What will you be expected to do?

• Ensure telephone and physical reception of patients (outpatients and hospitalized) with professionalism and kindness
• Verify patient identity and the conformity of medical prescriptions
• Perform blood sampling (capillary and venous) as well as blood gas analysis, in strict compliance with protocols
• Advise patients and provide instructions as well as materials for non-blood sampling
• Handle the pre-analytical phase: reception, conformity control, recording of analysis requests and preparation of samples
• Record outpatient data and ensure administrative follow-up of files
• Guarantee the quality, traceability and routing of analyses, including subcontracted ones
• Manage non-conformities and ensure effective communication with the relevant contacts
• Manage stocks, internal orders and ensure maintenance of equipment and devices
• Participate in the administrative tasks of the service

Who will you work with?

What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a medical assistant or an equivalent recognized qualification
• Master blood sampling (capillary and venous) in strict compliance with hygiene, safety and identification protocols
• Apply pre-analytical procedures rigorously and guarantee the quality and traceability of samples
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and establish a climate of trust with patients, including in stressful or apprehensive situations
• Be comfortable with common computer tools (Microsoft Office)
• Show autonomy, reliability and professional discretion
• Organize effectively, manage priorities and demonstrate flexibility
• Collaborate actively within a multidisciplinary team

Your assets:

• Have experience in a laboratory or sampling center
• Know the requirements of the ISO 15189 standard
• Master the OPALE and/or MOLIS software
• Adapt agilely to unforeseen events and activity fluctuations
• Master French and have knowledge of another language
