The workshop team is responsible for services for internal city customers in the areas of carpentry, joinery, painting, stonemasonry, and locksmithing. The garage workshop ensures rapid support in the area of machines, vehicles, and equipment.
We are looking for a
Your tasks:
- Together with your supervisor, you form the team in the garage and are responsible for service and repair work on municipal vehicles, machines, and equipment.
- You prepare vehicles and trucks for inspections and also conduct these inspections.
- You are responsible for relaxing and recovering our increasingly electrified vehicles and machines.
- With your category C license, you drive, for example, trucks during snow removal or ice control.
- As deputy to the garage foreman, you also assist in training road transport specialists.
You bring with you:
- The willingness to take care of, for example, string mowers, service vehicles, bicycles, garbage and special vehicles depending on priority, thus ensuring the operational readiness of the civil engineering office at all times.
- We expect a completed EFZ training as a mechanic for agricultural, construction machinery, or trucks.
- While a category C license is a prerequisite for employment, it can be advantageous if you have completed high-voltage training, as our vehicle fleet is increasingly electrified.
- People are important to you in everyday work, and you find it easy to approach them. This also applies especially to working with apprentices.
