Operational Buyer (m/f/d)

SIGNAL AG is a full-service provider of products, systems, and services for signaling, information, parking management, marking, and traffic control, employing a total of 280 people at its headquarters in Büren an der Aare and the 9 market areas in Switzerland.

To complement our team in Büren an der Aare, we are looking for a committed Operational Buyer 50% (m/f/d) starting November 1, 2025.

Your tasks

• Independent management of components for the assigned product group throughout the entire P2P process
• Processing order processes and monitoring delivery dates
• Active collaboration with other departments
• Optimizing the purchasing process and regularly conducting supplier evaluations
• Identifying and implementing savings potential
• Negotiating framework agreements and contracts
• Active participation in optimizing workflows and maintaining purchasing master data

Your profile

• Completed technical or commercial basic training
• Ideally further training as a purchasing specialist
• 3 years of experience as a buyer/project buyer
• Good ERP and MS Office skills
• High sense of responsibility and negotiation skills
• Friendly demeanor towards internal and external customers
• Native German speaker with good French skills (or vice versa)
