In this context, we are strengthening our clinical governance and recruiting a Reference Nurse Quality of Care & Patient Safety, a key player in continuous improvement and risk prevention for a 6-month or 12-month fixed-term contract.
Job Description
Reporting to the medical management and working closely with clinical, medical-technical teams and external partners, you actively contribute to deploying, evaluating, and evolving the quality and safety management system across the entire Arc Network.
You are an institutional reference for quality, vigilance, and safety culture, with a pragmatic approach based on data, scientific evidence, and continuous improvement.
Your main responsibilities
Quality & Safety Governance
- Promote the quality and patient safety culture defined by medical management (just culture, risk management, organizational learning).
- Deploy and maintain the quality of care / vigilance system in accordance with Swiss legal requirements, national recommendations (e.g., ANQ, H+), and institutional standards.
- Coordinate quality documentation (procedures, guidelines, indicators): writing, updating, dissemination, and archiving.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Manage and develop the CIRS system: analysis of adverse events, feedback, monitoring of corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead the patient satisfaction and experience system (collection, analysis, communication of results, improvement plans).
- Organize, conduct, and follow up on internal audits (clinical processes, professional practices), ensuring implementation and evaluation of corrective actions.
- Contribute to the analysis of quality indicators (results, processes, safety) and their promotion to teams and management.
Training & Team Support
- Design and deliver targeted training in quality of care, patient safety, risk management, and vigilance.
- Support teams in adopting best practices and evidence-based recommendations.
- Facilitate and coordinate interdisciplinary working groups around cross-cutting quality projects.
Projects & Partnerships
- Support strategic projects initiated by medical management and the Quality of Care team.
- Coordinate quality activities related to institutional project management plans.
- Collaborate with external partners (networks, partner institutions, quality mandates).
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
- Nursing diploma recognized in Switzerland.
- Specialized training in quality of care / risk management / patient safety (CAS, DAS or equivalent desired).
- Proven experience in a hospital setting, ideally with transversal or coordination responsibilities.
- Experience in managing or organizing care services is an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
