Facility Manager - HQ 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity
 

Are you an experienced Facility Manager ready to take ownership of a dynamic corporate environment in Zurich? We are looking for a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, manage internal and external teams, and ensure our facilities reflect the high standards of our organization. This is a visible role with direct engagement across senior leadership and multiple business units.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead and develop a team of receptionists, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement

• Oversee outsourced services (cleaning, security, catering, maintenance), ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with SLAs

• Act as the primary contact for senior management on all facility-related matters, delivering tailored solutions

• Manage contracts and vendor relationships, including negotiations and performance monitoring

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in collaboration with HSE

• Develop and manage the facility budget, identifying cost-effective strategies and planning upgrades or renovations

• Optimize space usage across departments and business units, aligning with organizational needs

• Create and maintain operational guidelines for reception, mail services, housekeeping, and related functions

Your background

• Proven experience in facility management, ideally within a corporate or multi-stakeholder environment

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing internal teams and external providers

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including experience with executive-level reporting

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

• Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget planning

• Strategic mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities

• Familiarity with facility management software and tools is a plus
