Medical secretary for the Pediatric Consultation for Migrants
To complete our team of the pediatric consultation dedicated to migrants at the children's hospital, we are looking for a medical secretary, at an 80% activity rate, from April 1 to December 31, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME) consists of 4 services: neonatology, pediatrics, pediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, and gynecology and obstetrics.
Within the Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME), the pediatrics service offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other department services such as neonatology, pediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics.
Mission
- You ensure the production and flow of medical documents and information internally and externally
- You efficiently manage the organization of the unit's consultation
- You provide administrative support to the unit
- You actively contribute to the quality, development, and improvement of the unit's services.
Profile
- You hold a medical secretary training and/or a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent recognized title
- You have an excellent command of the French language and spelling
- You demonstrate rigor and have a sense of organization and priorities
- You identify as a flexible, empathetic, discreet, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual aid
- You already have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the hospital environment, ideally in the migrant health network (RESAMI)
- You can demonstrate good mastery of common IT tools (MS-Office) and, ideally, CHUV IT tools (SAP/Fiori, Ultragenda, Soarian, Synedra, MEDIN/MEDEX).
