Finance & Controlling Specialist - immediately or by arrangement
What you can look forward to
In this role, you take on a central role in our finance department. You work closely with management, actively contribute your expertise, and ensure a professional financial operation with overview, accuracy, and initiative. At the same time, you can expect an environment where collaboration, meaning, and development belong together.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the foundation's accounting as well as asset accounting according to SWISS GAAP FER and cantonal requirements.
- You ensure the legally correct management of financial accounting.
- You manage the general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, as well as payment transactions and keep an eye on liquidity planning.
- You coordinate dunning and debt collection in cooperation with external partners.
- You prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in consultation with management.
- You manage cost accounting and further develop controlling.
- You participate in the budgeting process and subsidy management, especially with cantonal final accounts.
- You support external audits and certifications.
- You maintain communication with banks, insurance companies, the cantonal social office, and other external contacts.
- You ensure deadlines, quality, and good information flow within the finance team.
- You organize tasks within the team, promote employees professionally, and actively contribute to the further development of processes, ICS, and QMS documents.
- You take on projects and special tasks on behalf of management.
Your profile
- A commercial or business administration education with further training in finance and accounting
- Several years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an SME or a comparable role
- Good practical knowledge in financial statements, controlling, and financial processes
- Very good knowledge of Abacus
- An accurate, structured, and responsible way of working
- Enjoy thinking in networks, initiating improvements, and developing solutions together
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- An open, appreciative, and humorous manner
- Social competence, discretion, and enjoyment in working with diverse people
