Cost Estimation and Industrial Cost Engineer (80-100%)

Establish cost projections for machines, sub-assemblies, and components

Define the target cost and support development and operations in achieving economic objectives (Design to cost)

Arbitrate technical-economic choices in collaboration with the relevant departments

Monitor and analyze variances throughout the product life cycle and alert in case of deviation

Identify and activate optimization levers

Ideal profile:

Engineer or senior technician training in mechanics, industrial engineering, or equivalent training
Good understanding of industrial processes (machining, assembly, automation)
Mastery of industrial cost calculation methods
Excellent mastery of Excel (advanced level), excellent mastery of an ERP; knowledge of a CAD tool such as SolidWorks is an asset
Developed analytical mind with a strong ability to structure and secure technical and financial data
Rigor, critical thinking, and ability to interact effectively with various interlocutors in a cross-functional environment
