Within the Reservations department and under the supervision of the Reservations Manager, you assist the team in handling customer requests and actively contribute to optimizing sales while respecting the establishment's quality standards. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Providing professional, warm, and personalized service at every interaction
- Managing individual reservation requests by phone and email, as well as group reservations, following established procedures
- Ensuring reservation requests are processed promptly according to standards
- Anticipating customer needs by identifying and recording preferences and specific requests to prepare a tailored welcome
- Handling daily tasks: Alerts - traces - pick up - Online reservation system bookings (ORS) - Opera exchange interface (OXI interface) - no-shows
- Participating in monthly departmental meetings
- Monitoring availability and updates of booking channels (room types)
- Promoting rooms, suites, special offers, and hotel services to optimize revenue
- Communicating effectively with all hotel departments (Reception, Housekeeping, Room Service, Concierge, etc.) to ensure perfect coordination of specific stays (VIPs, long stays, and special requests)
- Providing constant feedback to sales regarding new clients and reservation development
- Handling all customer requests or complaints and reporting them to the hierarchical superior
- Learning the technical and emotional standards of LQA and applying them
- Committing to the quality of service, discretion, and perfect honesty
- Maintaining a professional attitude, being friendly, and staying calm at all times
- Respecting ergonomic work standards in health & safety rules, hygiene, and sanitary prescriptions
- Respecting the policies, procedures, and service standards of the department and company
- Performing any other assigned tasks
- Internship as part of hotel training
- A first experience in Front Office is highly desired
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written; a third language is a plus
- Very good diction
- Team spirit, rigor, and attention to detail
- Being motivated and showing interest in the work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); knowledge of a PMS (especially Opera Cloud) and OTA extranets (Booking, Expedia, etc.) is an asset
- Commercial ease and interest in upselling as well as service personalization
- Flexibility and initiative
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and adapt to last-minute changes
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Discretion, professionalism, smile, and ability to manage stress in all circumstances

VISA REQUIREMENTS
To be able to work in Switzerland, the candidate must hold a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
