The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and cantonal-wide applications for directorates, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions.
Shape the digital workplace of tomorrow - for 80,000 users in the Canton of Zurich.
With SAP Build Work Zone (advanced edition), we create a central entry point for SAP and third-party applications – modern, scalable, and cloud-based. By the end of 2025, around 80,000 users will work on this platform, and more and more applications will be integrated.
Your mission: You take responsibility for the operation and further development of this strategically central platform. You design processes, integrate new applications, manage external partners, and actively bring in innovations from SAP BTP.
Your team: You work in the "Integration & Technology Services" area – a small, specialized team focused on SAP BTP, interfaces, UI technologies, and architecture. Together, we ensure smooth interaction of all platforms.

- Responsibility for operation and further development of the Work Zone
- Collaboration with SAP and internal/external system operators
- Support in case of disruptions in cooperation with the Service Desk
- Implementation of new requirements and evaluation of SAP extensions
- Leadership of (partial) projects and external consultants
What you bring:
- Degree in (business) informatics and solid experience with SAP Build Work Zone and BTP services
- Know-how in related platforms (SAP ERP, SuccessFactors, Microsoft, ServiceNow)
- Analytical thinking, initiative, and team spirit
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness
