About the job
As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Basel, we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Portfolio and Operations Change Manager for a temporary assignment of 1 year.
Advances in AI, data, and computational sciences are transforming drug discovery and development. Roche's Research and Early Development organisations at Genentech (gRED) and Pharma (pRED) have demonstrated how these technologies accelerate R&D, leveraging data and novel computational models to drive impact. Seamless data sharing and access to models across gRED and pRED are essential to maximising these opportunities. The new Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CS-CoE) is a strategic, unified group whose goal is to harness transformative power of data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist scientists in both pRED and gRED to deliver more innovative and transformative medicines for patients worldwide.
Within the CoE organisation, the Portfolio & Operations team organises and drives CoE core operations, portfolio strategy & management, administration, budget planning, vendor management and procurement interactions and informatics operations including managing cloud & software spend. This team serves as both the strategic catalyst and operational backbone for the CoE enabling business performance, transparency, and accountability.
We are seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to drive the adoption and implementation of five top-priority operational initiatives. This role is critical in transitioning the CoE from fragmented, manual legacy processes to a unified, scalable "One Source of Truth" model.

contract workflows. - TRU (Transparency of Resource Utilisation): Implementing new CoE time reporting and financial WBS strategy.
- L&D (Compliance & Learning Management): Deploying a global CoE training matrix and automated system-based training.
- FinOps(Cloud Management): Establishing integrated cloud governance and unified financial frameworks.
- DOG (Deployment of Operational Guidelines): Launching a centralized "Policy Hub" for all CS CoE policies.
- Change Strategy & Planning: Create tailored change management roadmaps for each
of the five initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader P&O Operations vision. - Communication Material Development: Design and produce high-impact
communication materials, including executive read-outs, global announcements, and
process Hub content. - Stakeholder Coordination: Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics across the CS
COE and build consensus and ensure regional readiness for global standards. - Training & Adoption Support: Partner with the L&D and DOG leads to ensure
end-user training and operational guidelines are effectively deployed and understood. - KPI Tracking: Refine and track success metrics related to user adoption and process
standardization to demonstrate measurable impact

Change Management (e.g., CCMP, Prosci) or Project Management (PMP, Agile) is highly
Preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare Life Sciences (HCLS). Proven track
record of managing change for large-scale operational transformations. - Communication Specialist: Exceptional ability to translate complex operational
changes into clear, actionable, and persuasive materials for diverse audiences. - Strategic Execution: A strategic thinker who can move between high-level strategy and
