Job Description:

As a cost planner, ideally with site management experience in Switzerland, your main focus will be cost planning. In addition, you support the project management and the tendering team in the tendering and awarding process. You also accompany the realization of the work on the construction site from the start of construction to commissioning.

You prepare cost estimates and cost quotations for demanding construction projects. You also participate in the optimization phase during project planning and are responsible for post-calculation and evaluation of completed construction projects. You calculate according to the element method with Messerli and use our extensive database as a basis for cost determination. Together with the chief site manager, you optimize the construction process, create the schedule, and monitor both costs and compliance with contract conditions. For you, information and communication form the basis of efficient teamwork. You quickly identify problem areas and propose appropriate measures.

What we expect from you:

• Training as a structural technician, civil engineer, or architect
• Several years of professional experience in construction cost calculation in Switzerland
• Knowledge of the relevant SIA standards
• Enjoyment of numbers and experience in cost calculation
• Conscientious and thorough working style
• Good communication skills and assertiveness
• Good IT skills, preferably in Messerli
• Good German skills, additional knowledge of national languages and English is an advantage
