English Teacher (20-40%)

Permanent contract
Workplace: UNIL Dorigny
Your activities
Teaching intended and adapted to the university community (in person): focused on the communication needs of participants, development of specific skills, semester modules, intensive modules, tutoring; evaluation and monitoring of learners
Development and projects: design of new courses, adaptation and development of teaching materials, participation in the development of new learning methods, participation in projects
Contribution to the smooth running of the Center: organizational meetings, coordination among teachers, participation in institutional life
Your profile
To complete our team, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- University education with several years of experience in teaching English, preferably in the higher education sector
- Excellent command of spoken and written English (L1 or C2+ level), good command of French (minimum B2)
- Experience in teaching business English (English for Business and Economics)
- Didactic training at master’s level if possible
- Good computer skills, strong ability to keep up with new technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills (team spirit and collaboration), availability to manage various situations related to students, services, and Faculties
- Active participation in professional associations for language teaching and learning and publications in this field are an asset
- Initiative and innovation spirit, flexibility, stress resistance, planning and organization
