To strengthen our team in the Delicatessen & Cheese area, we are looking from 01.01.2026, for an indefinite period, at the Lausanne site, for a motivated and committed person as Sector Manager, 100%.
Your responsibilities
- You support the department head in the daily organization and management of the delicatessen and cheese department.
- You participate in the implementation of offers, promotions, and commercial actions defined by the store's concept and strategy.
- You contribute to the planning and monitoring of sales, margin, and loss objectives.
- You ensure an attractive and neat presentation of the department, guaranteeing optimal product highlighting according to seasons and priorities.
- You apply and enforce hygiene, food safety, and quality assurance rules.
- You participate in stock management, ordering, goods receipt, and freshness control of products.
- You are present on the sales floor, advise customers, and ensure professional and friendly service.
- You support, train, and accompany employees in their daily work.
- You participate in performance reviews, integration of new employees, and talent development.
- You ensure smooth communication with the department head, the team, headquarters, and suppliers.
Your profile
- Ideally, you have completed basic training in retail, preferably in the food sector (delicatessen, cheese, or fresh products).
- You have successful initial experience in sales or department management, ideally in a similar role.
- You appreciate analytical and monitoring tasks (key figures, performance indicators, quality, losses).
- You are able to support and motivate a team, with good coaching and collaboration skills.
- You stand out for your initiative, organizational skills, and ability to keep an overview.
- You are flexible, responsive, and do not hesitate to actively participate in operational tasks.
- You have a solution-, customer-, and service-oriented personality, placing customer satisfaction at the center of your priorities.
- You have an elegant and neat appearance.
- You speak French fluently and preferably know other national languages.
