Oberwaid is beautifully located on Lake Constance on the edge of the lively university city of St. Gallen. The modern specialist and rehabilitation clinic with a clinic-in-hotel concept and a listed hospital of the canton of St. Gallen is open to all insurance classes. The medical spectrum of the clinic includes psychosomatic, cardiological, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation with state-of-the-art diagnostics and holistically integrated treatment. Psychosomatically, the focus is on the therapy of stress-related illnesses including pain and sleep medicine. In addition, Oberwaid offers a preventive medical service for individual treatment and counseling as well as organizational and corporate consulting in the field of prevention and health promotion, combined with various check-up options. We are looking for a social worker 20% - 30% to start immediately or by arrangement.
  • Counseling and support of patients, relatives, and team members on issues of work, housing, and social security
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external specialists, institutions, authorities, and
counseling centers in health and social services
  • Professional contact person for dealing with social insurances within the interdisciplinary team
  • Case documentation and information
  • Work with relatives, together or in coordination with the responsible therapists
  • Assistance in planning and implementation during admission and discharge processes to home or other institutions
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR YOU:
  • Training as a social worker FH, preferably with several years of professional experience
  • Good knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system
  • High social competence in dealing with patients and enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment, communication skills, persuasiveness, and high resilience
  • Responsible, reliable, and independent personality
