Construction Consultant (100%)
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all permit procedures for new store openings (NSO: New Store Opening) and major renovation/reconstruction projects of McDonald’s Switzerland, ensuring that building permits are submitted in accordance with McDonald’s global specifications.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Managing the submission of building permits and ensuring their timely approval in compliance with processes.
- Collaborating with architects, external partners, and colleagues to secure necessary approvals.
- Overseeing the preparation of architectural plans and compliance with requirements.
- Ensuring administrative follow-up of ongoing procedures.
- Controlling the progress of work in accordance with issued permits.
- Monitoring the budget and validating invoices from architects and experts.
- Being the main contact for architects, site managers, and real estate representatives.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organizing your work with rigor and results orientation to ensure project success.
To succeed in this role, you must be/have:
- Degree: Master’s in civil, industrial engineering, architecture, or interior architecture; or Bachelor’s in architecture/interior architecture.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in construction project management, as an engineer, project manager, or architect.
- Languages: Native French speaker, with excellent command of German and/or English (minimum level B2).
- Project management: Ability to independently manage projects from A to Z.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent negotiation and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Communication: Ease in presentation and ability to assert ideas.
- Personal qualities: Agility and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment; autonomy while promoting teamwork.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet).
