Paid breaks
A short, paid coffee/tea break of 15 minutes is granted with a presence of 4:75 hours and 30 minutes from 7 hours during working hours and taking into account operational needs. Breaks must be taken between shifts, not at edge times.
Training and further education
Course costs are fully covered if there is a company interest. Compensation for time spent: The employee is entitled to time compensation according to her employment level.
Allowances / Expenses
- Evening shift allowance from 8 p.m. & weekends (Saturday from 6 a.m.) CHF 10/h
- Tertiary on-call duty:
- Weekdays (5:00 p.m. to approx. 11:00 p.m.) Compensation CHF 40
- Weekends (7:00 a.m. to approx. 11:00 p.m.) Compensation CHF 60
 
- Evening & night work: time surcharge 20%
Child allowances plus
In addition to the cantonal child allowances, there are care allowances according to cantonal regulations.
Compensation for commuting
If the employee uses her private vehicle for work, compensation per km is 80 cents.
