The Authority for the Protection of Children and Adults APUC is here for people in distress. Those who need help and support can rely on APUC. No day is like another with us. In the interdisciplinary team, we actively design a secure future for adults, families, children, and youth in need of protection.
We are looking for a specialist for the clarification service of the APUC Graubünden, Northern Graubünden branch starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your field of responsibilities
- With great independence and autonomy and with the support of a team with extensive specific knowledge, analyze cases and submit corresponding proposals to the authority
- Establish contact and conduct discussions with directly affected persons and their families, often directly in their living environment
- Adapt the individual steps of clarification situationally, considering legal bases and in agreement with the procedure management
- Request relevant information from specialists, institutions, and involved offices
- Clarify subsidiary and complementary support offers
- Carry out appropriate interventions in crisis situations
What we wish from you
- Degree in Social Work BSc/SAS/SSS or equivalent training
- Experience in special sectors of child and adult protection or willingness to further train accordingly
- Very good communication and social skills with a broad methodological repertoire
- Empathy for people in difficult life situations
- Analytical skills to structure and define complex social situations and initiate necessary interventions
- Knowledge of KLIB is desired
- Reliability, ability to handle pressure, and a strong sense of responsibility
- A personality with independent and comprehensive thinking
- Flexibility with a strong service orientation and ability to work in a team in an interdisciplinary context
