Your tasks
- Scientific management of the audiology department of the CIVE-certified ENT clinic
- Advising and supporting the team on professional and scientific matters
- Fitting of various hearing systems (cochlear implants, middle ear implants, hearing aids, FM systems)
- Performing intraoperative measurements for CI implants in the OR
- Hearing control of the adjusted speech processors
- Annual/semi-annual follow-up care of CI patients (m/f/d)
- Checking the transmission behavior of hearing systems (INSITU measurement, RECD measurement)
- APD diagnostics, anamnesis, counseling
- Conducting and evaluating audiometric procedures in adults and children with and without disabilities aged 0-18 years including: visually conditioned distraction audiometry, play audiometry, speech audiometry in children, loudness scaling, tympanometry, broadband tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, conducting and evaluating acoustically evoked potentials
- Scientific processing of audiological and surgical-technical topics of the ENT clinic
Your profile
- Completed university degree in a technical-scientific field with additional training in audiology and practical experience with CI care (e.g. medical physics)
- Intended certification as a CI audiologist (m/f/d)
- Communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team and motivation
- A reliable, independent and confident way of working
- Confident handling of IT systems and programming knowledge (e.g. Matlab, C++)
