What you will do here
- As the central contact point for the topic of Artificial Intelligence in the areas of teaching, research, and operations, further develop the handling of AI together with the relevant stakeholders
- Support, advise, train, and network teaching and research staff as well as administrative employees on AI-related questions and the use of corresponding tools
- Ensure the interface to our infrastructure partners in the HPC/GPU accelerated computing area and support evaluation and needs assessment
- Maintain the centrally provided internal information in the AI area and make it available to all BFH members
- Initiate, lead, or support advanced projects in the AI area from preliminary analysis to implementation
What you ideally bring with you
- University degree in computer science or comparable education and training
- Several years of expertise and professional experience in the fields of AI, machine learning, and data science
- Solid understanding of modern software architectures as well as experience in application deployment with cloud platforms such as Azure is an advantage
- Lateral leadership experience in the university environment and project management is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, mediation and negotiation skills, as well as good language skills in German, English, and French are desired
