The Supply Chain team in Zwolle plays a key role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products by managing procurement, planning, and coordination with manufacturing sites and third-party suppliers. Their work supports global operations and contributes directly to Abbott’s mission of improving health outcomes.</p><div></div><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><p>As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Placing and managing Purchase Orders (POs) and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) in our system.</li><li>Ensuring timely and accurate order execution and proactively communicating with manufacturing sites.</li><li>Monitoring dashboards and supply metrics to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.</li><li>Collaborating closely with planners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.</li><li>Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to process optimization.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>What We’re Looking For</b></p><p>We’re seeking someone who is:</p><ul><li>Proactive and responsible, with a strong sense of ownership.</li><li>Skilled in system handling (SAP ECC/APO experience is a plus).</li><li>An excellent communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally in an international environment.</li><li>Analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.</li><li>Comfortable working with tools like Excel and Power BI</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Your Background</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (we’re open to diverse educational backgrounds).</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or planning - ideally within the pharmaceutical industry, but this not mandatory</li><li>Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Why Join Us?</b></p><ul><li>Be part of a supportive team led by a manager who encourages improvement and innovation.</li><li>Work closely with planners and gain insight into strategic supply chain processes.</li><li>Opportunity to grow within a global organization that values collaboration and continuous learning.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>How to apply</b></p><p>Please apply to the position through the link in the ad.
