Since 2022, under the institutional mandate of the Nursing Directorate and the Medical and Quality Directorate, HUG Allies of Diversity aims to contribute to a more equitable and inclusive care environment for people of sexual and gender diversity (SGD). HUG Allies of Diversity acts to guarantee access and care for SGD people and their relatives, without discrimination and taking into account their specific needs.
Composed of health professionals and financially supported by the HUG Private Foundation, HUG Allies of Diversity works around 4 areas: adaptation of patient data collection, staff training, development of a network of diversity health referents, awareness and visibility of resources around health and diversity.
Job Description
As an intern within HUG Allies of Diversity, you act under the responsibility of the co-project leaders, in collaboration with the project officer.
You provide support in project management and event organization.
Enthusiastic about contributing to cross-cutting projects in favor of health equity, you perform varied tasks within a stimulating, multidisciplinary environment and are proactive.
You assist the co-responsibles of the mandate in their project reflection and design activities.
You support the organization of events and training activities related to health equity.
You provide support for coordination (agenda management, drafting minutes, preparing materials…).
You contribute to communication and reporting activities around the different projects.
You have the opportunity to produce an internship report directly linked to your activities and with the support of the team.
Qualifications
You are in your 2nd year of a Master’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, education sciences, global health, or any other relevant field. You must complete a mandatory internship during your studies and have an internship agreement.
You have very good organizational, writing, and communication skills.
You have good analytical skills and good knowledge of health issues for people of gender and sexual diversity.
This position also requires significant adaptability skills, related to the diversity of tasks and interactions.
You are able to navigate sensitive and complex situations with professionalism and teamwork.
Experience in project management, training, and with diversity people is an asset.
You master common office tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
