We are looking for the musculoskeletal department for a specialized technical assistant in the operating room (ATSSO) at 80%-100%, starting date to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Musculoskeletal Department (DAL) is dedicated to the treatment of osteoarticular, musculoskeletal, and peripheral nerve pathologies. It welcomes patients suffering from diseases related to the skeleton, joints, and tendons, whether of degenerative or traumatic origin.
We offer you an activity within an operating room located on the top floor of the orthopedic hospital and a dynamic team in a motivating work environment.
Depending on the candidate's profile, the salary class ranges between 4 and 5.
Mission
- You participate in the care and installation of the patient
- You ensure the maintenance (cleaning, disassembly) of care equipment and the patient's environment in the operating room
- You are responsible for integrating new colleagues and pre-interns
- You participate, upon request, in working groups within the service
- You ensure your own continuing education using internal and external resources
- You apply hospital hygiene techniques and rules while respecting the legal framework.
Profile
- You hold the certificate of specialized technical assistant in the operating room (ATSSO)
- You are familiar with the hospital environment and hospital hygiene
- You are a dynamic, committed, and motivated person with a sense of teamwork
- You master French both in writing and speaking
- You are caring towards patients, kind, rigorous, methodical, reliable, and available
- You are comfortable within a multidisciplinary team
- You stand out for your professional spirit and respectfulness.
