About the job

We offer adapted living, day structuring, and work opportunities as well as additional support services for children, adolescents, and families at various locations in the Surselva region in Graubünden for 130 children, adolescents, and adults with special learning and care needs. As a competence center for school, training, and integration, it is important to us to support the people entrusted to us in their uniqueness. To fulfill our tasks, over 180 people work in our social organization. Due to the retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for a responsible personality from July 1, 2026, or by arrangement. Do you enjoy working in a meaningful environment? This is your area of responsibility • You directly lead the team leaders of the residential groups and the site manager in Sedrun and participate in the hiring process of employees in the Living & Working area. • You ensure the implementation of special education, social pedagogical, and nursing principles in the promotion and care of adults with disabilities. • You ensure that the offer quantitatively and qualitatively meets the needs and requirements. • You monitor, control, and further develop the offers in the Living & Working area professionally and conceptually. • You prepare the department budget considering the overarching guidelines. • You are responsible for business development, achieving annual goals, and adhering to the budget of your own area. • You ensure reporting of your area of responsibility to the institution's management. • You are a member of the institution's management. What you bring • Training in personnel and organizational management and corresponding experience. • Completed pedagogical or care professional training and experience in the professional field is desirable. • Independent, goal-oriented, and structured working style as well as high social competence and resilience. • Strong analytical skills and conceptual competencies as well as confident communication.
