Your Tasks
As an Assistant Banquet Operations Manager, you accompany our guests through unforgettable occasions from small business meetings to exclusive weddings and prestigious events such as the GaultMillau Garden Party. With your organizational talent and hands-on mentality, you ensure a smooth process and contribute decisively to the success of our events.
Accompany events – preparation, execution, and follow-up of events, from small business meetings to weddings and large occasions like the GaultMillau Garden Party
Support and represent – close collaboration with the Banquet Operations Manager and independent representation during their absence
Delight guests – excellent service and ensuring high guest satisfaction through attentive service and supervision during events
Coordinate – organization of staff, supervision of temporary workers and pool, coordination with kitchen, F&B office, inventory management, floristry, and other outlets
Handle administrative tasks – execute orders, process account assignments and finances, and co-organize training and workshops for employees
Your Profile
You bring expertise from the gastronomy sector combined with organizational talent, communication skills, and a cool head. This prepares you to take responsibility in the banquet area and develop further.
Education – completed basic training in gastronomy, further education at a Swiss hotel management school is an advantage
Experience – 1–2 years of professional experience in the banquet or event sector
Working style – independent, structured, and organized with a cool head in dynamic situations
Communication – strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Leadership – initial experience in employee supervision is an advantage, enthusiasm for taking on responsibility
Languages – very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, additional foreign languages are an advantage
