Job description
You ensure the nutritional care of patients hospitalized in geriatric rehabilitation as well as those awaiting placement, for the Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Department, within Loëx Hospital.
As a dietitian, your mission is to enable patients to maintain, restore, or improve their nutritional status, functional capacities, and quality of life in accordance with ethical and deontological principles.
You apply Evidence Based Practice (EBP) and carry out your care in accordance with the nutritional care process.
You are responsible for rigorous and regular documentation of patient records.
You actively participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation and maintenance care meetings and collaborate closely with the entire interprofessional team.
You contribute to the continuous improvement of professional practices, particularly in the field of protein-energy malnutrition in the context of geriatric rehabilitation, and are proactive in making suggestions.
You provide, if necessary, replacement for your colleague within other care units of Loëx Hospital.
You participate in the training of students.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a recognized title registered with the Swiss Red Cross.
You have a strong interest in clinical nutrition in the field of geriatric rehabilitation.
Experience in rehabilitation and knowledge of the external network are assets.
You possess excellent communication skills and know how to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Your intellectual and professional curiosity is recognized. You adopt a reflective stance, promoting continuous professional development.
You are organized, autonomous in managing your time and activities, flexible, and able to handle multiple simultaneous demands.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in French is required. The ability to read scientific articles (including in English) is necessary.
Perfect mastery of common computer tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is essential.
