Energy Management Coordinator Engineer
To complete its team, the Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety Department (CIT-S) of the CHUV is looking for a 100% Energy Management Coordinator Engineer, within the framework of a fixed-term contract from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
👉 Actively contribute to the energy performance of a large hospital site, at the heart of a complex and innovative technical environment.
Context
The Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety Department (CIT-S) of the CHUV ensures operation, maintenance, construction, engineering, technical assistance and advice within a large hospital real estate portfolio.
Its missions revolve around three main axes: the construction and modernization of infrastructures and technical installations, the operation and maintenance of technical and biomedical equipment ensuring the continuity of medical, research and administrative activities, as well as the protection and safety of property and people.
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. In collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, medical research and training.
Mission
- You lead work operations related to Energy Performance Actions (APE)
- You ensure the monitoring and analysis of energy consumption
- Thanks to your technical knowledge in HVAC and automation, you are a driving force in energy optimization proposals
- You work closely with technical services to implement measures related to APE
- You participate in the validation of energy concepts within the framework of work projects
- You ensure the application of cantonal guidelines for 2030
- You work in an environment subject to a Quality Management System.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electricity, HVAC) or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the operation of complex technical installations
- You have technical knowledge related to hospital buildings, a real asset
- You master the standards, laws and regulations related to technical professions
- You easily use professional IT tools (Autocad, MS Project, CAD, office tools)
- You demonstrate team spirit, a willingness for self-training and a strong interest in energy issues.
