About the job
In our Analytical Chemistry business unit, we work with innovative measuring devices that have an excellent reputation in the market. In our team, we develop the hardware and software for these measuring devices. To further expand our leading role, we are looking for a Development Engineer Test Systems in R&D (m/f/d) 100% at our global operational headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee. In this role, you will take on the following tasks: You are the main contact person in our R&D regarding production tools (HW/SW) and drive activities for continuous improvement and automation. This challenging role includes the development of requirements for the necessary mechatronic manufacturing and testing equipment, as well as the development and documentation of the corresponding test concepts. Participation in product development projects for market-ready precision instruments is also part of your responsibilities, as well as the maintenance and support of their production processes throughout the entire product lifecycle. In doing so, you represent requirements such as DfA, DfT, and traceability, as well as cost efficiency and compliance with company policies. Your solid software skills enable you to independently develop and maintain production software, as well as its integration, verification, and validation in our production environment (product tests / process control). You have an excellent sense of quality and are able to detect and narrow down a problem until you solve it together with the operations and engineering teams.
