Plastics Technologist / Setup Technician for Plastic Parts Production
Together with your team colleagues, you work in shifts and ensure the demanding qualitative and quantitative production standards. This includes the following activities:
- Setting up and programming injection molding machines and handling devices
- Assisting with sampling / optimizations
- Assisting with automation of injection molding processes and rework
- Supporting the shift supervisor (e.g., in training / coaching employees, reporting deviations and irregularities in production)
- Cleaning work on the equipment and in the department
- Filling out order documents and checking for completeness
In addition, you have the opportunity to participate in projects and communicate with the departments of quality assurance, laboratory, toolmaking, and logistics.
- Plastics technologist or setup technician with at least 5 years of professional experience in injection molding
- Enthusiasm for plastics technology, working in the micro area, and modern technologies
- Willingness to work in shifts (including readiness for night shifts)
- Enjoyment of process optimizations and active participation in improvements
- A flair for quality
- High independence as well as enjoyment of collaboration with different areas
