The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for the cantonal administration, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Office for Informatics accompanies and supports the Canton of Zurich into the digital world.
For the establishment of risk management, we are looking for an employee with responsibility, initiative, and an independent working style to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Establishment, operation, and further development of a comprehensive risk management system for the AFI
- Participation in the Financial Directorate's risk management project
- Identification, analysis, and evaluation of risks in operations, projects, and services
- Development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies
- Monitoring and regular reporting of the risk landscape to management
- Creation and maintenance of guidelines, procedures, and reports
- Conducting training and workshops to raise awareness
- Collaboration with internal and external parties to ensure a holistic risk management approach
Your profile:
- Higher education (FH, university) with a focus on (business) informatics, risk management, or information security
- Several years of professional experience in risk management, ideally in the public administration
- Very good knowledge of information security management and IT architecture
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving competence
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoyment in contact with various target groups
