About the job

• you lead the local section Middle Thurgau for the regions Kreuzlingen and Weinfelden both professionally and personally
• you plan and coordinate regional reporting for print and online and set journalistic priorities
• you research and write your own contributions on political, social, and economic topics from the region
• you further develop your team of three to four employees and promote constructive, motivating collaboration
• you work closely with the editorial management as well as other sections and actively contribute to the management team
• you maintain your network in the region and are close to the people, institutions, and decision-makers in Middle Thurgau

• you have several years of experience in local journalism and have taken on editorial responsibility
• you live enthusiasm for independent, relevant regional journalism
• you are interested in the Middle Thurgau region, especially Kreuzlingen, Weinfelden, and the Lake Constance area, and ideally well connected
• you enjoy and have the talent to lead, promote, and further develop a small team together
• you think strategically, work in a structured way, and keep an overview even in hectic situations
• you contribute constructively to the management team and take on responsibility
